Metoder for flermålsanalyse : en oversiktsstudie fra GOAL

Multiple Criteria Decision Analysis (MCDA) is a popular and powerful methodological approach to aid decisionmaking involving several and possibly conflicting goals. A multitude of MCDA methods exists; these can be categorized into three broad classes: a) Value function methods; b) Goal and reference point methods; c) Outranking methods. This report gives an introductory overview of MCDA methods in compliance with this categorization. Within each family of methods, basic principles are described, examples are given and available software is listed. Choice of method for a particular decision problem will normally depend on several factors. The report also gives hints and tips on choosing appropriate methods for various types of problems, as well as general advice on conducting MCDA. This report is part of a series of surveys of OA methods conducted by project GOAL at FFI.
